I just received my parcel from Zalora yesterday which was delivered by Ninja Van courier. It was my very first time shopping online to be delivered to my parent's house. Why? It's in a 'kampung' area (village area) where houses are not numbered and it would be difficult to look for specific house.
Familiar with Poslaju EziBox (to which I regularly use when I was a university student in UKM KL Campus), it led me to thinking "what if there's other courier services that cater to the East customers?". There's no EziBox nearby so I searched through the net and discovered Pgeon.
Pgeon provide courier service and what draws me to try is that they provide collect point or Pgeon Collect service for those who aren't always home to collect their parcel. The best part? It's free!

My experience
Mine was a Pgeon point at a very nearby 99Speedmart outlet. It was their very first time experiencing a customer using Pgeon point at their outlet. This outlet is quiet new and situated at Bandar Putra, Jalan Tuaran, 88450 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The moment my parcel arrived, Ninja Van courier informed that they have dropped it off at the said outlet. 99Speedmart staff called me to inform of the parcel and I went right away to pick it up. Unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve my parcel as they were not able to key it in to their system and also quite clueless as to how they process the order. After about an hour waiting they told me that I have to come the next day or when I receive confirmation code from Pgeon.
Well I was frustrated but they assured me that they will keep it secured and were just following procedure where they have to key in first so I can get my designated code, This code is to verify that the customer has booked a slot and the parcel belongs to him/her. So I went home thinking how it might be frustrating as well for them being their first time.
You will then receive a verification message.
The following day, I received a message from Pgeon with the verification code. This means that the parcel has already been key-ed in and is ready for pick-up. Finally I am able to retrieve my parcel! The process wasn't long but of course I need to show them my code. After matching the code to their system, then that's it!
My parcel
I would definitely use this service again. Thanks to Pgeon, we can pick up parcels when we aren't home or if you're like me where house address is not practical for postmen to deliver.
