Welcome 2019!

Unofficially 24. Over the past years has been rough and tough. But I want to acknowledge myself that I did and am growing through these experiences.

'Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,
Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge' - Wilfred Owen (Dulce et Decorum Est)

I wish I hadn't had painful memories but pain is what makes us human. Just like scars, pain doesn't go away. We live with it the rest of our lives as the magnitude lessens. We may not be able to get over with it but with time, we will be able to move on. That is what keeps me going on, live through it until you grow stronger.

2018 has its own blessings. With the help of those around me who encourages, motivates and helped to lessen my burden, I achieved some of my most important goals.

  1. Did my best for case studies and learn so much during my clinical attachments.
  2. Graduated with Honours in Bachelor of Science in Dietetics ON TIME!
  3. Applied and accepted a job with Teach for Malaysia (2019 Cohort)
I am grateful for all those who helped me through my struggles. I have recently returned to my passion to write. Thanks to Jing Yi, a dear friend who inspired me to write poetry. I do it daily now and posted a few on my Instagram story highlights.

Social media is becoming more toxic and communication has little to no meaning (in my personal opinion) when it became so, if not, too convenient these days. I commit to write more this year especially to thank all the kind souls who has helped me. I owe it all to them.
